With a simple mouse-click it is now possible to remove camera shake from a single photo within a matter of seconds.

piccure works different from most other image correction tools: it does not try to make the image “visually appealing”, but instead aims at restoring your photo as it would have been captured without any camera shake during exposure.

piccure is a great tool for photography enthusiasts who love the crispest details in their images (micro-shake reduction), the photographers who just want to rescue blurry shots, as well as the photo forensics who want to recover information from heavily blurred images.

Here are some examples for piccure's micro-shake reduction capabilities:

We strive to constantly improve piccure and take your feedback seriously. We have released piccure 1.5.2 - this means:

  • piccure is now also available for Adobe® Lightroom® 3 or later (ProPhotoRGB is fully supported - see )
  • With "SmartSpot" you can now get much better results if the auto-calibration of the camera shake did not fully satisfy you
  • The user interface was further improved and several smaller bugs were eliminated
  • You can save the window position, window size and screen mode for a faster and more efficient workflow

If you have additional ideas for improvement or want to comment on piccure in general, please fill out our the product survey located in piccure under Menu/Feedback.

You can try piccure for 14 days before purchasing a key. There will be no physical software shipment.

By knowing how sharp pictures typically look like, piccure tries to guess how you moved the camera during exposure. Once that's done, piccure can do the math and remove the blur from your captured photo.
